Magical

I just wanted to write and say how magical snow falling at night at Christmas time is. I went out this evening as it just began snowing, and all I could do was smile. There is just something magical about snowflakes falling and glistening in the street lights. It may sound cheezy, but at this moment in time, that is totally irrelevant. It is still one of the most romantic scenes and feelings ever, even if you are by yourself. It's like being in a holiday movie classic. With any less restraint, I may have spun around and danced on the walk of the outdoor shopping mall. Instead, I lived vicariously through the little boy trying to catch snowflakes in his mouth. I couldn't help but to laugh out loud, and happily, his father seemed to be of good humor.

Tonight, at home, the balcony Christmas lights are on, the Christmas tree is glowing, the candles are lit, and snow is falling. The only thing missing is my little boy ( who hopefully is enjoying tonight playing video games with his father)

I'm sure one day, there will be a time when I get to share an evening like this with someone, but until then, I'm just thankful I get to experience this for myself.

The magic of Christmas...... or at least of snow.
